High School Days

I read this tag on Brandy's Blog...I was laughing so hard!!!


1. Did you date someone from your high school? Yep...lots of highs and lows!!! Mostly just a waste of time!
2. What kind of car did you drive? A red Izuzu Amigo! I LOVED my car. I got it on my 16th birthday and was honestly sick to my stomach when I sold it when I was 19!!! I miss you!
3. What is your most embarrassing moment in high school? Probably having my long time boyfriend cheat on me and everyone knowing before I did! Guys are AWESOME!!!
4. Were you a party animal? No. My dance schedule was to intense to have time to party!
5. Were you considered a flirt? Yes...I was pretty good at it!
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I was in choir in Jr. High and I wish I would have done it in H.S. but like I said...no time!
7. Were you a nerd? No....I'm not very smart!
8. Were you on any varsity teams? No
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Absolutely not...my parents would have killed me!!!
10. Can you still sing the fight song? Heck yes!!! I never missed a basketball game!
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Coach Walker, Mr. Fong, Coach Cuff
12. Where did you sit for lunch? 5-buck pizza...Target...Wendy's!!! I got my license at the beginning of my sophmore year so I'm not sure I even remember where the lunch room was.
13. School mascot? Bruins
14. Did you go to homecoming and with who? Yes...Landon Hansen Jr. and Sr. Year. By the way...he is the one I mention in #3!
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Yes....because I would be nicer to people, try harder in school and I would have tried hard to find Scott earlier even though he was in college! And No...for the obvious reasons!!! High School is Drama.
16. What do you remember most about graduation? Wearing Candy Necklaces and shooting them at people....we were so mature!
17. Where did you go senior skip day? Lagoon, I think???
18. Have you gained weight since then? Well, yes right now being 7 months prego!!! But not a lot before that.
19. Who was your prom date? Soph. Nick Hendersen...Jr. Landon Hansen...Sr. The Girls in St. George for the sunshine tournament!!! By the way Sr. year was funnest, I had the bestest friends!!!
20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? No, I stay in touch with everyone I want to...plus I am really bad with names, it would be weird!!!
21. Looking back, what advise would you give yourself? Hang out more with girlfriends instead of boyfriends. Not care so much what others thought. And be nice!!!

What am I thinking???

Hiking....up to a waterfall...in the rain...7 months pregnant!!! Actually, it was really fun! We went up to Bridal Veil on Saturday morning for a little hike. We were going to go to Stewart Falls, but I thought we should see how I did with this first! It's funny the things that are hard when your pregnant. For example sometimes I didn't have the abs stregnth to lift my leg high enough to get on some high rocks. Or when I climb the stairs at the studio and I am embarrassingly out of breath. Or trying to sit up out of bed to visit the bathroom 10 times during the night. (Scott has actually begun to realized its me grunting in the middle of the night and he will reach out his arm and push my back up so I can get out of bed!) It's so funny thinking about the things that are all of a sudden hard. But honestly I have had the easiest pregnancy...if actually getting pregnant had been this easy...we would be in good shape! I LOVE feeling her move! She now kicks harder and I can actually feel her little body poking me, making a bump on my belly. She already has a funny little personality. She will be kicking so hard and I will have Scott put his hand on my tummy and she will stop before he can feel anything.....She does this all the time. I tell Scott he must be good at getting her to sleep (hint,hint!) But really I think she is just teasing her daddy! How lucky am I to have this sweet little spirit come to our family!!!

30 Weeks Baby!!!

Can you believe it??? This pregnancy is going by so fast...almost too fast! She is on her way and ready to take over! We actually had a scare on Thursday night. I got home from dance at about 9:00pm. After a long day I realized that I hadn't felt her move at all. I ate something sugary and laid down for about 45 minutes. No Movement! I called Labor & Delivery and talked to a nurse about what to do. She told me to come in quickly...and then the panic set in!!! Scott drove me to the hospital and they monitored her heart beat for an hour. She didn't have any spikes in her heart beat so they used a zapper thingy to wake her up. She got ticked and kicked harder than I have ever felt her kick. Her heart beat spiked after that rude awakening. The doctor said she must of just been exhausted from a long day of dancing!!! I guess I need to be a little more careful! But she is fine and on her way....we can't wait to meet her!!!

Triathlon #2

Scott and I traveled down to Yuba Lake last weekend for his second tri this summer. He did so good...much better than the last one (according to him). At his last tri he finished in 1 hour and 33 minutes. And we are estimating that he finished this one in 1 hour and 22 minutes!!! He is awesome and I have a lot of fun running around trying to get shots in action!!!

Baby Shower!!!

Last week I had my very first baby shower with some friends! It was so fun to see everyone and hear all their advice. They definitely hooked me up with some awesome stuff and cute things for a baby girl. My mom made me some pink and brown blankets to go in her bedroom. I also got a bumbo chair, a bouncer, a play gym and tons of cute clothes, shoes, tutus and toys. It was so fun being together. We are all growing up so fast!!! Thanks Everyone!!! It was Awesome!!!
