Ballerina Girl

Ava got a pink ballerina dress for her birthday and was so excited to wear it to dance class! She goes to a class with Miss Michele (who taught me when I was little) Ava loves her and loves going to dance! She looks like such a little girl in these pictures! I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!!

My Little Ballerina!!!

Ava J is 2!!!

Apparently I no longer have a baby. She is now considered a little girl!!! This year Ava's birthday fell on Thanksgiving..... so we celebrated Thanksgiving with our families and then we headed to see TANGLED for her birthday! We had a party later that week. Ava decided she wanted a Mermaid Party which ended up being so fun! For a week straight all she would say to everyone is "come to my potty"! She was so excited and we had so many family members come! Thank You! Here is an Ava update:

* She loves princesses, coloring and Music Class.
* She is talking up a storm and can have full on conversations.
* She knows all her colors and some shapes and letters.
* She hates it when people are sad and quickly hugs and kisses them to cheer them up.
* She likes to call people on the phone.
* She LOVES fruit loops! (Which is funny because that is what I lived on while I was pregnant!)
* She loves playing outside and going on bike rides.
* She is such a sweet girl, but is also gaining A LOT of independence!
* She loves going to dance with mom, but gets SO excited when daddy comes to pick her up!
* Her favorite color is PINK!
* Her favorite princess is "Mermaid".
* Her favorite movie is SPIRIT.
* Her favorite thing to eat is noodles.
* And she really wants mommy to have a baby!

We love you Ava! Thank you for being so sweet and loving and keeping us on our toes! Our lives are better because you are in our family!!! Love you baby girl!!!

Art with Heart 2010

Every year TDC participates in a benefit concert for Shriners Hospital! It is one of my most favorite performance that we do! The girls raise money to donate to the kids at the hospital who cannot pay for the medical attention that they need. They always bring some patients from the hospital to watch the show then share their story afterwards. I am always amazed at their optimism and strength. And I have to add that my girls were amazing! They did such an amazing job and I was so proud of them!
