2 Week Check-Up

I took Nixon to his two week check up on September 6th. He weighed 8lbs. 11oz!!! Gaining almost a pound since birth! He measured 22 inches having grown an inch & a half! This is already happening too fast!
He is such a good baby! I think I have seen his eyes for a total of 10 minutes since he was born! We are having so much fun and I feel so blessed to have my little family!

THE BIRTH STORY
We got to the hospital at 7am on August 22nd. By 8:00 I was on pitocin and the epidural was on its way! I actually slept through most of the "labor". At 2:45 they had me start pushing and 4 minutes later I was holding my little boy! He weighs 7lbs. 15 oz. is 20.5 inches long and has TONS of blonde hair! He is the easiest baby! He sleeps through everything! He is such a good eater! And he smiles in his sleep all the time! I am so in love with this little man! Our family is so lucky!

OH, and by the way..... Ava LOVES him! I mean she absolutely LOVES him! She is such a good big sister!

We Love Animals!!!

I have ENDLESS amounts of pictures at the zoo, petting zoo, our fish Nemo, and stops to look at horsies! Ava's favorite animals right now are a HORSE,ZEBRA and SIMBA (lion)! We love animals!

Tri 2011

Salem Triathlon 2011
Scott did the Salem Tri this May. He just keeps getting better and better! This triathlon he got his fastest time! And came in 4th in his age group! WOW!







River Rampage 2011
Scott did his first OLYPMIC Triathlon in Green River. The length is double the Sprint Triathlon. I was so impressed with his workout determination.... waking up at 5:00 in the morning! He cruised! While on the bike he passed his brother Clark, who had a broken chain on his bike. He stopped for a couple minutes to help him. And finished FOURTH in his age group! I was soooooo proud of him! He amazes me!!! At the finish line he picked up Ava to run across with her and she proudly waved at the crowds. It was so cute! But I didn't get a picture.....I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and I could not keep up with them!!!

What can I say about this amazing man of mine..... He is such a great dad. Ava loves to play, wrestle and dance with him. He is the handiest man around and does huge amounts of projects that I dream up. He is such a hard worker even when he has run out of steam. He always puts me and Ava first. He makes me laugh. He shows me ENDLESS amounts of love. I have been very blessed to have him as my husband and love him lots!!! Happy Birthday Scott! We are lucky to have you!!!
