The Sweet Things in Life

In the past, when I am home, Tanis use to follow me everywhere. But during the fall time the sun hits our windows at the perfect angle to make a sun spot in our living rooom. He lays in it and he follows it across the room through out the day. It just made me think of the little things that make the day seem so much better. So, like I usually do, I decided to make a list:

My Sweetest Things in Life
1. Every morning Scott kisses me goodbye, even if I am so out of it that I don't remember.
2. I can always expect a phone call from him at lunch, just to say 'I love you'.
3. My dancers always say the cutest/funniest stuff.
i.e. "Ms. Bethany, you ALWAYS wear sweats"
"My mom's not here today, she's at the doctor getting her boobies fixed"
When asked what count they kick on... "21?" its funny if you know you only count to 8 in dance.
4. We eat dinner together no matter what...even if its 10:00pm
5. My dog runs to the door to greet us when we get home.
6. During dinner we share our Highs and Low of the day.
7. At the end of the day I get to play with my best friend.

Look at our Cute Family!!!

We decided to take this picture because I had one of my dancers tell me she never saw me in anything but sweats. I figured it is probably the same for the rest of you. FYI...Scott just got called as the Weablos Leader. I had "nothing to do with it", being the first counselor in the primary presidency!!! Ha, Ha!!!

Shocker

We went four wheeling a couple weeks ago with the Olsen Family and guess who ended up in the mud...SHOCKER!!!

Wonderful Weekend

This weekend we randomly decided to hike up to Stewart Falls. It was so much fun. It was sprinkling lightly the entire time we were hiking. We made it all the way to the falls and spent about half an hour exploring and then hiked back. Although we were wet and cold when we got home, hot chocolate fixed everything!!!

Three men and a heavy dog house

Our one spoiled dog got an extreme home make-over. We built him a new dog house. The other one was so "amature" says Scott so we upgraded just a bit. The hardest part was getting it into the exact spot we wanted it. Scott did all the carpentry work and Beth used her families well known painting skills. After we finally got rid of the old one Tanis still wouldn't go into the new one. It took him a few days to understand what happened and he pouted as if we were not allowed to tough his stuff. But now he loves it. This is Scott, George and David showing how much they had to "bulk-up" to move the dang thing!!! And this is our poised puppy...if our kids are half as cute we are in good shape!!!

My Beautiful Throne Room

My most talented husband has given me such a wonerful gift. He has remodled our bathroom. For those of you that didn't see it before the remodle won't appreciate the glorious aftermath. It use to have yucky yellow countertops, ugly brown cabinets, old linolium and a bath tub that I wouldn't even bath in. We completly gutted it and started from scratch. We had so much fun doing it together and I absolutely love our new bathroom!!! My husband is so awesome!!!

25 Big Ones!!!

Yep.. it's true. I can finally rent a car. I'm really having a hard time with this birthday. It's almost as if I all of a sudden need to become an adult. I probably won't, but at least I felt like I should. I had an awesome birthday. Scott and I woke up and went to breakfast at Magelbys. Mmmm!!! Then I went to Alli Thorntons baby shower....it's a girl. And then we went up to Park City to do some heavey shopping. And that is exactly what we did. I got tons of clothes and we bought North Face Jackets for our family Christmas card. He spoiled me rotten. Then we came home and had cake and ice cream with Gen and Corey (my sister and her husband) and George and David (Scott's dad and brother-in-law). We had an awesome day!!! Then we went out with the Olsen Family up to Gardner Village. I love going up there. We had a lot of fun. Other than that we are up to the same old. Scott is crazy busy at work and works for a slave driver (my dad) and I am TRYING to get my girls ready for Art with Heart. We have both been so busy that when we see each other we barely know who the other one is. Scott would probably be upset if I didn't mention that we made it to see Transformers for the fourth time on the IMAX screen. It is by far the best "guy movie" that I have ever seen and Scott absolutley LOVES it. It comes out on DVD on October 16th. We will be waiting. And if you haven't seen it...you should!!!
