A Month of Firsts!!!

We took Ava to the zoo for the first time! I have been waiting for this ever since I got pregnant! We love the zoo and we go all the time! It was so fun to take Ava. And Scott was so cute pointing out all the animals to her. She actually saw most of them, but the monkeys really caught her attention! She loved the train ride and on the carousel...she rode on a dolphin!

Ava fell asleep on the way out...it was a lot to take in!

Daddy bought her a stuffed leopard on the way out.....he name her Lucy!

She discovered BALLOONS and Ava is definitely a fan!!!

Ava ate rice cereal for the first time. Everyone told me they hate it at first....She couldn't get enough!

Ava and Jordyn's first twiner outfits. Its so fun having a close cousin...We miss You!

She wore her first Dance Outfit...given to her by MY teacher Kirra...We Love You!!!

Ava played in an exersaucer handed down from her cousins...thanks Aunt Tiff!

Ava discovered what tape is a spent a good 30 minutes playing with it!

Mom: Ava your such a crazy head! Ava: No I'm not! I'm a people!

"Hey Mom! Will you clean me a dance?"

Ava was yelling and I asked her to use a quiet voice and she repllied "Mom, I'm gonna knock your socks off!"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls.....Introducing me!"

Ava walked out of her room and said "Mom what's happening?" It made me a little worried so I walked into her room and she yelled "NO! It's a trap!!!"

We went to a basketball game and Ava pointed to one of the refs and said "what's that?" I replied, "That's the ref" she said "ref?" And I nodded yes. Then she said "that's not the ref!" So I asked her what it was and she smiled and said "ZEBRA........zebra stripes!!!"

Every time I turn on my Bing Crosby Christmas CD, Ava says "Daddy's Singing! Daddy's Singing!!!" WOW! What a compliment!!!

I walked into the bathroom to see Ava hold my toothbrush and her toothbrush and pushing the heads together. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "they kissin!" And so it begins!!!

I asked Ava if she wanted to go downstairs and color in the playroom. She got a worried look on her face and said "no!" When I asked why not she said "its no shiny!" (meaning the lights were off!)

Ava was playing in her playroom and suddenly started to cry. I went running in and asked what happened and she said "I jumped crazy".

Ava: Dada? Dada? Me: Where is daddy? Ava: Wok (work) Me: Yep, daddy is at work. Ava: Home? Me: You want daddy to come home? Ava: PEEEES! (Please!)

I heard Ava yelling "I'm tall, I'm tall!" I went into her playroom to find her standing on top of her ballet bar about 3 ft off the ground.

The week of her birthday she would say to everyone "come to my party!"

Anytime she wants you to go somewhere with her she turns and waves you over and says "humon". (Come on!)

After asking to watch "horsies" five hundred times she finally gives up and says "k watch game". Must be football season!
